With a heart for service and a mission rooted in faith, Takiyah Harris brings over 20 years of hands-on experience working with troubled and disabled youth. As the founder and director of Four13teen’s Pre-Employment Transitional Services, Takiyah is committed to equipping students with disabilities for meaningful, independent futures.
Takiyah holds a Master of Science in Higher Education, a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases in Social Work, Biology, and Healthcare Management, and an Associate of Arts in General Education. She also holds a Director’s Certification, underscoring her commitment to leadership and educational excellence.
Throughout her career—including time with the University of Memphis—Takiyah has mentored countless students who once struggled to speak up or believe in themselves. Her belief in Philippians 4:13—"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"—guides her work and fuels her passion for helping young people find their voice, their purpose, and their path.
